Blue Bell Creameries Donates $25,000 to the Brenham Heritage Museum

Blue Bell Creameries has contributed $25,000 to the Brenham Heritage Museum to sponsor the “Going Pro” section of the Washington County Sports Exhibit. This featured gallery will highlight athletes from Brenham High School, Pickard High School, and Blinn College who advanced to the professional level, with a focus on major leaguers and a representative selection of minor league players as space allows.

Designed to be a centerpiece of the Washington County Sports Exhibit, the “Going Pro” gallery will showcase the depth of local talent and the enduring legacy of sports excellence in the community. Through photographs, stories, and memorabilia, visitors will experience the achievements of athletes who reached the highest levels of competition.

President and CEO of Blue Bell Creameries, Jimmy Lawhorn, expressed the company’s support for the initiative, stating, “Blue Bell Creameries is honored to help facilitate the advancement of the upcoming Brenham Heritage Museum ‘Going Pro’ sports section.
