Dr. Wilfred Dietrich Speaker Series
Multiple Dates
The Brenham Heritage Museum is proud to announce the Dr. Wilfred Dietrich Speaker Series, a new lecture series honoring the museum’s founder and one of Washington County’s most dedicated champions of history, education, and civic life.
Dr. Wilfred O. Dietrich (1924–2019) was a lifelong educator, historian, and civic leader whose passion for preserving local history helped shape the cultural landscape of Brenham and Washington County. A founder of the Brenham Heritage Museum, Dr. Dietrich was instrumental in advancing the preservation and interpretation of the region’s history.
Beginning in 2026, the Dr. Wilfred Dietrich Speaker Series will feature a distinguished lineup of historians offering engaging presentations on Texas history, Washington County, and the people and events that shaped the region.
