Brenham, Texas — Citizens State Bank has contributed $10,000 to the Brenham Heritage Museum in support of the Washington County Sports Exhibit. The donation will sponsor the exhibit’s “Coaches” section, a gallery honoring the longest-tenured coaches from schools across Washington County.

The section will highlight coaching achievements and feature personal reflections from former players, offering insight into the lasting impact these coaches have had on their teams and the broader community.

The Washington County Sports Exhibit is part of the museum’s ongoing effort to expand its offerings and create engaging, educational experiences for visitors of all ages while preserving local sports history.

The Brenham Heritage Museum expressed appreciation for the partnership.

“This contribution has a significant impact on our ability to bring this exhibit to life,” said Ciera Harris, Interim Executive Director of the Brenham Heritage Museum. “It ensures these coaches and their legacies are recognized and remembered.”

Fundraising efforts for the exhibit remain ongoing, with opportunities for individuals, businesses, and organizations to contribute.
